Hey everybody, I finally got the internet working at the camp ground. A friend of mind put it through my phone. I am not sure why my son didn't show me. Last year I never had any trouble getting on the internet. This year I have something I enjoy doing and can't get it to work.
A beautiful day on Prince Edward Island. Having a great Canada Day weekend. Just had a barbeque with friends and waiting for the camp fire.
I got my block done for the Road Trip Quilt along. I am hooked on this blogging and can't wait to see what everyone is working on. Here is my block.

Back on Prince Edward Island for awhile. Brought my granddaughter with me. We had a great day today shopping and getting the trailer ready for the week. I hope the weather is with us. Hope to have some time to practise on my new sewing machine.
My husband just brought us a ice cream cake for my birthday. He remembered.

I just got back from Moncton with my new sewing machine. A Husqvarna Viking Tribute 140C. By the looks of it I will need to take some classes. It is quite a step up from what I am used to.




These are a few of the free things that I got with it.



A quilting table, free motion foot, and many more feet, a travel bag for the table and a essentials kit. The picture didn't turn out as clear as I would have liked. Well time to go and play.

I love to quilt but my other passion is cross stitch. Here is something that I have been working on this winter. I finally finished it.

A new gadget for my Birthday from my mom. Thanks mom. A little early as my birthday is Monday.



I also bought myself an early birthday present, some new material for the summer road quilt along.


Its hard to pick a coordinating colour once you start your blocks but I think the green will go nice with the browns and yellows.
