Baby quilt week....

It feels like Baby quilt week for me here as I have four on the go. They are fun to do and gives me good practise for machine quilting.

I had this 4" Charm pack that I won last year and decided to make this little baby quilt. I love the colors in this one. A nice fast one to put together. 

I finished  binding the Jacob's ladder.  I love the soft colors of this one. 

I just machine quilted little hearts all over these and really liked how they looked. My daughter n law's sister just had twins last week. Little girls. She has two little boys now. What a busy house hole that will be. I have another two little quilts on the go for them. I hope to have them done this week before I go away.

One week from today we leave for our trip. I am starting to get excited. Just got the suit cases out and washed the summer clothes. Now ironed and in the suit case. I am not a big fan of the travelling but love it when I get there. I don't mind the trip home just getting there. Always worried about the weather and delays. Driving to Portland, flying to New Orleans and then taking a Western cruise on the Carnival Sunshine. Can't wait.
Well very happy to have two more gifts off my list. The first one is just to have on hand in case I need a gift.
Starting to see a few more flakes of snow. I went for a walk and it was still to cold.
