I had a really good day sewing and finished the Kansas block for the RTQA. It was one of the easier blocks and it turned out well.

I also got my Christmas Quilt top done for the Vintage Quilt Along. I was quiet happy with this also. I just got finished and cleaned up the trailer when my husband drove in. So good timing. Here is my Christmas Quilt.

The green boarder didn't turn out as well on the picture. It is very pretty.

 I haven't been on  the computer much as my husband has my phone which I need to hook up to the Internet and my camera . He is using them for work and he is away working. I am at the trailer with my granddaughter this week so have been entertaining her. She is at her other grandmothers tonight and I borrowed my daughter in laws phone. A really quiet night at the trailer and a wet evening. Just catching up on everyones bloggs.

Finished my vintage Christmas quilt today. Will take pictures later. Just got the pattern for the RTQA and plan on making that tomorrow. Other than that I am caught up on my sewing until I go home. Then I plan on getting my quilting frames out and putting the Christmas quilt in.

I made a mistake and posted the wrong list. I am learning alot about blogging and it seems I have lots more to do. Here I thought I was doing a good job.

Day 13 of Bowls & Borders and guess what a GIVE AWAY!

 

This is my first Blog Hop and paper piecing. That was an experience. Thanks to Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt and Carol for organizing this. It was alot of fun. I am so amazed with all the different designs. Everyone did a beautiful job. Thanks to Regina for the beautiful pattern.

I live in a beautiful part of the country where the world's largest flower pots are "The Hopewell Cape Rocks".  I have a great husband, two sons with great daughter" n" laws and four beautiful grand children.

I started blogging early this summer and just love it. Even though I have a really busy summer with work and keeping my grand children I have got alot sewing done this summer.

Now back to this blog hop. I kind of signed up without really knowing what I was getting into. I have never done paper piecing before. I have learned so much since I started blogging.

Monday morning again. Another week gone. We started out to work this morning and it started raining so headed back to the trailer. Some free time this morning . Nice.

Finished my first applique runner last night. Very happy with it. I think I will like that stitch on my new sewing machine. Never had the proper stitch on my old machine that looked right. I thought I would start with a Halloween runner first as that holiday will be around the corner.

The book I used is a beautiful book filled with table runner for every season. You would just love to make everyone. It is called My Runners by Disa Designs. I bought the book at the Fabric Cupboard in Moncton NB. Love the book.
