This is a pattern that my friend Connie and I found in Urban country Quilts by Jeanne Large and Shelley Wicks. It was hard to get a good picture because of the glare from the glass. I should of taken a picture before putting the glass on. I will next time as I plan on doing another one. I really enjoyed the appliqueing and plan on doing more. I never had
that feature on my old sewing machine but my new one works great.
My son bought me this coffee machine for Christmas to put in my sewing room. When the girls were in for craft night this week they thought it came in pretty handy. It saves me lugging cups and hot things down the stairs. One of the many great Christmas presents I got for Christmas. My other son bought me a three terr steamer and I just love that. It works great. My husband bought me a garage door opener which I was excited about. Can't wait for it to get hooked up. It better not be an all winter project.
Had a great morning going down to my friend Marjorie's to go snow shoeing. I took my granddaughter but I can tell she probably won't go again. She is eleven and not very ambitious. It was a beautiful winter day in the woods.
The picture turned out good Marla. I finished appliqueing mine 2 pieces a few minutes ago.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers with the black fabric and frame stand out really well. Looks great! I still have mine to applique yet. I'll take Lauren place the next time you two venture out for a snowshoeing.
ReplyDeleteHi Marla,
ReplyDeleteI was having trouble downloading pictures to Blogger also using Internet Explorer. Try downloading Google Chrome as your browser. That worked for me, and I can download pictures now.
